Brian Duggan is a Software Engineer at NatureServe. Brian grew up around Champaign, Illinois and started his career in technology there. He discovered the community-controlled wireless mesh networking movement through his work at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center. He moved to DC to work on mesh network community organizing and software development at the Open Technology Institute. Before joining NatureServe, Brian supported nonprofits as a developer through his consulting business.
Now in Baltimore, Brian teaches phone repair classes at the Station North Tool Library and enjoys learning to stay on his skateboard on the weekends.
