To qualify for the group rate, telephone (231-946-5000) the hotel and inform them that you are part of the NatureServe conference. Use the group code "NATURESERVE" to receive the $87 standard guest room rate (plus 6 percent state tax and 5 percent local assessment tax). This room block deadline is March 24; after that they go back to the hotel’s general inventory and reservations will be accepted based on availability and subject to the regular rate. A credit card is required when you make your reservation, but this would only be for any incidentals you acquire during your stay.
Park Place Hotel features three types of rooms, each featuring either one king or two queen beds and views of Traverse City, Boardman Lake or Grand Traverse Bay.

The Park Place Hotel is filling up fast. If you cannot reserve a room at the Park Place Hotel, we recommend the Holiday Inn Resort West Bay Beach (800-314-2621). The Holiday Inn is located only a few blocks from the Park Place Hotel, has 179 modern and well-appointed guest rooms, Starbucks coffee, and dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A second alternative is the Bayshore Resort (800-634-4401).
Directions
Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) is approximately five miles away. Book flights through the airport here. Taxis and a free hotel shuttle service are available on site. The airport also houses five rental car companies.
