Biotics 4: Preparation Checklist

First pass through - QC only
Make corrections indicated by Data QCs in production BCD (as many iterations as necessary until your data are ready to convert)
 
Once you are ready to export data and send to NatureServe for initial conversion
Kick-off call with NatureServe point of contact
Review conversion error report results with NatureServe
Make corrections indicated by conversion error report to PRODUCTION BCD
Establish an installation date with your NatureServe point of contact
Get a signed installation services contract from NatureServe
Review your installation project plan schedule and make arrangements with staff required for on-site training and IT support during install week. Your NatureServe point of contact will send you a detailed installation project plan.
 
Last pass - ready to export data and send to NatureServe for FINAL conversion
Freeze all data entry in both Biotics 3.1 and BCD until after installation
