Southeast Natural Heritage Conference
Come Network with the Network!
April 29–30, 2010, in Austin, Texas
The Southeast Natural Heritage Conference focuses on knowledge exchange among the NatureServe network members.
- Productive working sessions in the major disciplines at work throughout the Network—Botany, Ecology, Zoology, and Information Technology—bring to light new developments in methodology, science, technology, and data reconciliation across the Southeast region and the entire network.
- The Leadership workshops focus on enhancing the health and impact of the network’s members, and in shaping direction for new methods, tools and strategies within their programs and across the Network as a whole.
This year's conference plans to include an all-member meeting as well as section meetings for LAC and US councils.
- Field trips hosted by the Texas member programs provide a chance to get outdoors and explore aspects of the Austin area's natural heritage.
The Southeast Natural Heritage Conference will focus on working group sessions that address a particular issue and seek audience participation in discussion, solutions, and/or action. Program projects and accomplishments should be presented during the NatureServe Conservation Conference.
