Hotel

The NatureServe Conservation Conference 2010 and Southeast Natural Heritage Conference will be held at the Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark, located in beautiful Austin, Texas, just minutes from the state capitol, the University of Texas, and the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

All conference sessions and most regular meals will be held at the hotel.

Conference attendees are responsible for arranging their own accommodations. The hotel is holding a block of rooms at special conference rates: $99/night for a single room, $125/night for a double room. These discounted room rates may not apply if reservations are made outside the NatureServe room block. The discounted rates apply to reservations made for dates within the time period of Saturday, April 24, 2010, through Saturday, May 1, 2010. Reservations must be made by 5pm CT, April 3, 2010, to qualify for the discount; after that time, rates and space are not guaranteed. Reserve your room online.

Transportation

Airport Shuttle: The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to and from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.  Shuttle service is available from 7 am to 10 pm daily. For pick up, please call from the courtesy phone in the baggage claim area or call the hotel directly at 512.448.2222.

Taxi Service: Cab fare between the hotel and the airport runs approximately $15 per way for one person. Cabs are readily available at the hotel for travel around Austin. Contact the hotel for more information.

Field Trips and Reception: Transportation will be provided for all conference-sponsored excursions away from the hotel.
