NatureServe Conservation Conference 2007: "Discovery, Innovation and Action"
The 2007 NatureServe Conservation Conference was held between October 1-3 in Golden, Colorado. Based on the theme of Discovery, Innovation, and Action, conference sessions highlighted topics from emerging issues in conservation science to advancements in online environmental review tools. For more information about the sessions check the agenda. Plenary speakers at the conference included Chris Pague, conservation ecologist with The Nature Conservancy of Colorado, Rand Wentworth, president of the Land Trust Alliance, Mark Shaffer, program director for the environment at the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and Stephen Woodley, chief ecosystem scientist for Parks Canada. Thanks to our presenters, we can share here some of the exciting sessions held at the conference this Fall.
