Call for Papers for Biodiversity Without Boundaries 2020

Conservation and the Next 50 Years

NatureServe seeks submissions to the agenda for the Biodiversity Without Boundaries 2020 Conference, April 19-22, 2020 in Richmond, VA.  2020 will be the 50th celebration of Earth Day, and this BWB will take stock of the accomplishments in conservation over the last 50 years, and how we can set ourselves up for more success in the next 50.  

List of Preferred Topics

The following topics have been identified by NatureServe and Network Program staff and other partners as particularly relevant for this conference. Other topics will be considered, but compelling presentations related to the preferred topics will be given priority. 

  • Use of Network wide tool and products (i.e. Environmental Review Tools, Common Field Guides, iMapInvasives)
  • Citizen science
  • Open data
  • Modeling & range-mapping
  • Stakeholder engagement and communications
  • Stakeholder data needs

Types of Proposals Sought

  • Posters
    • 48" wide by 36" tall
  • Presentations
    • 20 minutes maximum (Note: to accomodate as many presenters as possible, we may offer a shorter timeslot)
  • Abstract only
    • For inclusion in a PDF of all abstracts
