NatureServe would like to offer you and/or your staff the opportunity to participate in the evidence-based Network Leadership Program to enhance your personal capacity, the capacity of your organization and the capacity of the Network. The course will be held at the Manasota Beach Club in Englewood, Florida. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants and you must be able to communicate in English (antcipamos un curso en América Latina el año que viene se acomode a los hispano hablantes).

The Program encompasses four and one half days of distraction-free conceptual discussions, meaningful exercises and reflective journaling, with an opportunity for one-on-one consults. Program facilitators include Don Kent and Network partners to be determined. No PowerPoint presentations! Topics include the Why, How and What of Leadership, Individual Development, Leading Others, Creativity and Innovation and Communities of Practice. Participants are required to bring a work-related technical, scientific or relationship challenge to the Program. Casual comfortable dress is required – exercises will occur indoors and outdoors, standing and on the floor or ground.

Lodging is in 1, 2 or 3 bedroom cottages located throughout 20 acres of oak canopy and fronting a Gulf Coast beach. Participants are responsible for travel and lodging expenses. Lodging and meals are $185/person/night plus gratuity. NatureServe is responsible for facility, facilitator and supply costs. The nearest airport is Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport 38 miles and 54 minutes to the north of the Manasota Beach Club. NatureServe is working with Oasis and Avante Airport Transportation to arrange a shuttle from the airport to the Manasota Beach Club.
