Jaclyn is a wildlife ecologist with over ten years of experience conducting research, managing projects, and communicating science. She holds an MS and PhD from University of California, Davis, where she studied the behavioral and spatial ecology of mammals in a variety of habitats, from the deserts of Mexico to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Jaclyn has also performed research throughout East Africa and South America, where her work with bats in particular set her on the path to become a visual storyteller. At NatureServe, Jaclyn transforms science into stories that can inform biodiversity conservation by making information about the natural world more engaging and accessible to general audiences.
