Stephanie Williams is a Geospatial Data Manager for NatureServe focusing on collaboration and coordination of standardized biodiversity data between NatureServe and partners. She has ten years of professional experience in the GIS field working closely with federal, state, and local agencies. With seven years of experience previously in the NatureServe Network as Data Manager for the Tennessee Natural Heritage Program, her passion for database management and conservation grew from field work and research. A native of northern Alabama, she received a M.S. in Plant and Soil Science from Alabama A&M University and a B.S. from the University of Alabama. Residing in St. Petersburg, Florida, in her spare time, she enjoys sailing, scuba diving, and biking.
