Kevin B. Knight, Spatial Ecologist at NatureServe, brings over two decades of experience in ecology, biodiversity data science, and ecological modeling. His rich career is marked by significant contributions to global species extinction risk modeling, national-scale habitat assessment, developing a monarch butterfly recovery plan, and creating systems for evaluating environmental mitigation programs. Equipped with a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from The University of Colorado, an MBA in Sustainable Business from Presidio Graduate School, and a Bachelor's in Ecology and Evolution from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Kevin is passionate about combining datasets, and disciplines, to solve tricky conservation problems. Living in Boulder, CO, his love for the natural world extends beyond work as he enjoys mountain biking and hiking in the Rocky Mountains and worldwide.
